Note: The difference between ST-004 and ST-005 would be: ST-004 is mainly used for regular plug in all over the world ( US/Canada/Europe etc.. not limited) , while ST-005 is designed to use for 30A plug "only" in US/Canada.

WHICH PLUGCheck the plug on your dryer's cord and count the prongs before you order, then pick the matching Model above. Three prongs is the NEMA 10-30P version; four prongs is the NEMA 14-30P version.
VOLTAGE & CURRENTThe ST-005 is built for 220V–240V circuits rated up to 30A. For household 110V–120V outlets up to 16A, please use the ST-004 or ST-004-F instead. Gas dryers run from a standard 110V outlet, so they take the ST-004 series, not this box.
WHAT IT ISThe Sintron ST-005 is a timer box that controls how long a machine is allowed to run. You set the time, the price and the text shown on the LCD; the user pays before the machine will start. It takes up to 8 coin types through the Sintron ST-001 acceptor and keeps a counter of the payments it has taken. Alongside coins it supports mobile payment — customers scan the QR code on the screen with a phone camera and pay in the browser, with no app to install on their side. Supported methods include, but are not limited to, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App. The ST-005 is built for electric dryers in self-service laundry facilities across the US and Canada.
GENUINE SINTRONPlease make sure you are getting the GENUINE Sintron ST-005. There are no-brand copies on the market that do not meet the same safety requirements and are rated well below 30A. An easy check: ask whether theirs uses solid-state relays.

Are there any subscription plans or monthly fees for using mobile payments?
Sintron does not charge any subscription or monthly fee. Your payment gateway sets its own transaction fees, so check the current rates with PayPal, Stripe or Square.
Which version do I need — 3-prong or 4-prong?
Look at the plug on your dryer's power cord and count the prongs. Three prongs is NEMA 10-30P, four prongs is NEMA 14-30P. Order the ST-005 version that matches the plug you have.
Do I need an electrician for the installation, or can I do it on my own?
No rewiring is involved — the box goes between the wall outlet and the dryer, so most owners set it up themselves. Step-by-step instructions and video tutorials are provided.
Can the Sintron ST-005 record transaction history?
Yes. The box keeps a counter of the payments it has taken, and with email reports switched on it sends 24-hour totals with coins and mobile payments listed separately. Email reports need the box connected to the internet.
