Sintron ST-004 ST-005 firmware V5.16 only update OTA instruction

Power on your ST-004 / ST-005. The firmware version is displayed on the LCD screen during startup.

Connect to the Same Network & Find Your Local IP

Ensure your computer and ST-004 / ST-005 are connected to the same Wi-Fi router. Power on the device and note the Local IP shown on the LCD screen.

192.168.0.102

⚠ Compatibility Warning

Contact us before updating. Not all firmware versions are mutually compatible. This update is for V5.16 → V5.31 only.

Open the Firmware Update Page in Chrome

Open Google Chrome and go to the URL below — replace the example IP with your device's Local IP.

http://192.168.0.102/firmwareupdate replace 192.168.0.102 with your actual Local IP

The upload page looks like this:

Upload the Firmware File

Click "Choose File" and select V5.31.bin, then click "Update".

Wait until progress reaches 100%. Do not close the browser or cut power during the update.

After reaching 100%, the device may take a few more minutes to complete the update — please be patient and keep the browser open until the device automatically restarts.

Verify the Update Was Successful

Once the upload reaches 100%, the device will automatically restart.

After restarting, check the firmware version on the LCD screen — it should now display V5.31.

✓ Update Successful

If the LCD screen shows firmware V5.31 after restart, the update is complete. No further action is needed.
