The ST-004-F is a payment timer box. It sits between the wall outlet and the machine and controls how long that machine runs, releasing power only after payment. The F is the front-opening version, and where the door opens decides where the unit can go.
The ST-004-F takes coins and mobile payment. Coins work with no network and no account; where there is Wi-Fi, customers scan the QR on the screen and pay in the browser, and where there is none, they pay through the ScanPay app over Bluetooth. Off-hours scheduling blocks starts during the hours you set. The email report sends the totals when the unit is online. The coin acceptor is the ST-001, reading up to 8 coin types.
The front door is what this version is for. It puts the screen and the coin slot on the face of the unit, so it mounts flat on the wall right above a machine's own control panel, where the customer is already looking. It also fits the places where there is no room to swing a door out to the side.
The rest of the specification is shared. The unit runs on a standard wall outlet from 110V to 120V, up to 16 amps, with the plug for your region in the box. A solid-state relay switches the load. The cash box sits behind a keyed cam lock. And when something does fail, the relay, the ST-001 acceptor, the control module, the power cord and both sockets are available separately, so one part does not mean a new unit.
